Lighting St John’s: update
As you know, St John’s remains “a hidden gem”, with many of our treasures hard to see in the murky lighting. In addition the fittings are obsolete and require bulbs which are no longer available, so the situation will only deteriorate as these bulbs gradually fail.
Our ambitious lighting project sought to give us instead a state of the art and flexible system which would enable people to see – both the architectural gems and their own service sheets – and light the Church appropriately for concerts, events as well as services.
